I ordered an 1100 from dell on a sunday night.

The lappy came on the follwing tuesday, with the order confirmation the day after which said estimated shipping date was the week later!

then 3 days later the invoice came

Fantastic delivery turnaround, but shocking customer service with regards to answering e mail.

nice laptops, I am on the 8500 atm, 15.4" widescreen 1920x1200

its getting traded in come may, will be a year.. for one of those new 17" toshiba (or better hopefully) laptops..

The tosh is ok, but the res is far to low (1280x1024 widescreen equiv) and I really want to keep my 1920x1200.

Still, congrats, these are nice laptops.

I was very excited when the Apple Powerbook was on its way. I was like a kid on Christmas day when the package was there on the table!
