Just moved into my new flat and the previous owner used to smoke in the kitchen and it now smells of smoke, any ideas how to get rid of it. I have fabreezed, rub down all units etc but still smells.

Thanks

Start off with re-decorating, including the ceiling.

Are there any existing carpets or curtains? They hold the smell of smoke.

try washing walls/ceiling down with sugar soap as well, it will help disperse the nicotine before decorating. But, you will probably need to stain block the ceiling if the staining is particularly bad....
