For those who have not even played the first one. Is it worth getting?

Definitely. It looks gorgeous for a start, and it's great fun free-running across rooftops then leaping down onto someone to stab them in the neck biggrin

ETA - there's no multiplayer aspect though, so you might want to consider renting rather than buying, if you have a Lovefilm or similar account.

Graham i'm currently at the tree of life where you have to blow the sap up to kill him, is that the end or is it worth me taking mw2 out and playing it for a bit?

I think Silent's getting his games confused. That sounds more like Uncharted 2.

As for the golden mask - that was pretty late in the game as I recall. Certainly Venice is the last city.

I loved the first game. This is the only game that has been out since my 360 RRODed 18 months ago that is making me considering resurrecting it.

So it's a touch limited then. Once complete, do you think you'll want to play it again and again?

Top game, really involving, looks and plays beautiful. Replay value is the only thing that goes against it.

Not really no. It wasn't hard to go back and collect the outstanding feathers and money chests for the relevant achievements.

I had it about a week, maybe just over, but was playing it a lot in that period (I'm not working at the mo).

As Graham has said. Very good game, just not much re playability. I completed the game and got 86% of the ps3 trophies but couldn't be bothered to do the rest. I.e collecting feathers due to the time factor.

Plus I got to trade it in at cex for maybe 8 quid less than I bought it for. So smiles all round biggrin

Not working + 360 + Lovefilm subscription = a sudden rise in game playing/exposure biggrin

Picked this up on tuesday. I am loving it! I never really bonded with the first game, but this one is far better. especially the cutscenes, being a video rather than just watching the characters talking and moving about in an invisible box.

That, and doing some free running then jumping two guards from above, then go rip some posters down, brilliant fun smile

9/10 for me so far!

Finished a while back. I am waiting for the DLC to come out.

New memories due at end of Jan and end of Feb.

Taken from PS3 Fanboy/Joystick

"In "Battle of Forli" ($3.99), you'll defend Forli (surprise) from the Orsi brothers with the aid of Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza. With six new memories, the DLC will allow you to "accomplish a daring rescue and prevent the Piece of Eden from falling into the hands of the Templars." Also, the flying machine is back!

In "Bonfire of the Vanities" ($4.99), you and Machiavelli will free Florence from "the grip of the mad monk Savonarola" by offing his underlings in ten memories. There's also a new district of Florence, and a new move for Ezio: the spring-jump, as if his similarity to Luigi wasn't already striking enough.

As many have speculated, the two additions fill in the missing sequences (12 and 13) from the game, meaning the DLC is a great buy for people who love murder and people with obsessive-compulsive disorder."
