Camping at Silverstone

In the past I've stayed at Whittlebury Hall, but I've noticed that this year if you buy a 3 day ticket for the Grand Prix you can buy camping through the ticket site at 35 quid a head. They seem to have changed the site today and taken off the early bird offer (but kept it at 35) and no longer saying where it is (previoulsy it said south of the circuit. You can choose between lively and family.
Anyone know what this would be - it would be about half the price of Whittlebury?

I noticed this when i booked my tickets last night but came to the conclusion of 'if it's not broke don't fix it'. Also i think it was literally '3 days' camping whereas whittlebury is from the tuesday to tuesday IIRC. I head down on the thursday morning to miss trafic and get a spot with perfect distance away from the portable s

The Silverstone camp site is supposed to be down by Stowe. Personally I'm going to stick with the good old SRA site (if Mr King is doing it this year)
How much is the SRA site if you don't mind me asking? As per the ticket thread, this will me my first time at the BGP and after having a quick google of local campsites I went for the Silverstone site as it looked like pretty good value for the Friday and Saturday night compared to others. RJB, makes a good point though. I don't plan on getting there until Friday evening so I certainly wouldn't want to be next to the sh
