+ a quick snap of the bike.

-1 0 +1 Auto bracketing without a tripod. Some are better than others (half aren't even worth showing) as i'm still getting to grips with HDR. Holding the camera still enough is a challenge in itself when there's nothing to rest it on!

Oh and can anyone recommend me a lightweight xc tyre (450g-550g) in 2.1-2.25. The standard felt tar tyres aren't great and weigh in at 585g. Rocket Ron's sound perfect but their fragile nature has me slightly concerned coffee

New years ride perhaps, my fitness levels aren't up to much atm as that was only my 2nd ride after a 2 year gap. A little stop start to say the least - hence the pictures hehe

I like the 5th one (with the rocks in it). Very moody. It makes me want to get out there on my bike.

Have you dealt with Mojo before? Super fast and keep almost everything in stock. Would bet that you have them by the weekend.

Yeah they said 48 hour turnaround so fingers crossed; only thing is I've sent them back to the shop I got them from for them to forward on (long story..) so that may add a day or two to proceedings.

I'd be up for a PH ride tho once that's all sorted

Funnily enough no; as the hound dog can't keep up, so I'm usually on 2 feet biggrin

Really should do though; seems mad I spent Sunday dog walking round Swithland Wood before driving over to Cannock Chase redface

I'm definitely up for a local PH ride tho

I ride a bit around north Leicestershire but have not ridden Beacon Hill before.

I used to ride south Leicestershire a lot a few years ago. Even now I occasionally cycle from Bradgate Park to the Old Barn at Glooston for a small loop then lunch and a beer. The ride back across Leicester can be a struggle!

I usually head to Wales, Derbyshire or Cannock to be honest. In fact I just got back from a very muddy night ride at Cannock. Follow the Dog in the dark is awesome!

Llandegla last Saturdaym, which, again, was awesome!

I have pretty well finished work for Christmas now so can ride whenever.

Great photos, especially the first HDR shot.

I've not tried HDR before, I have a Nikon D5000 and I fancy giving it a go. Could you give me a quick idiots guide how to do it? I understand the logic, 3 shots taken and then combined, but I don't actually understand how to do it!

Thanks,

Dan
