A Bit of advice please

Me and the boy have got ourselves an E36 for track use. The car is a 93 320i.

How often does the cam chain need chainging or is it quite bomb proof, anything you can think of that may need servicing would be of help, done the usual plugs,fuel and oil filter, coolant.

You'll never need to touch the chain really.
If it does get noisy, it might benefit from a new tensioner, but they'll go on over 200k miles easily.

I suppose the major points are keep the cooling system up to date, and probably change the water pump if you can't be sure it's already been done.
The rest will be changing suspension bushes etc.
