It's easy when your're self employed. What's your point by the way ?
Nothing really, I've just heard a few people describe themselves as "company director" over the last few days when I'm fairly certain the nearest they've got to big business is on the DLR.

I'm a company director but I'm not in big business but it is a company that's been quite happily trading for 3.5 years.

I didn't realise that only big businesses were allowed directors.

If you run your business through a limited company, by law, you will almost defintely be a Company Director of that company.

However, you cannot be Self Employed if the business is a Limited Company.

The number of people who run a one-man band limited company and say they're self-employed must wind you up. nuts

Traditionally British companies have Directors and secretarys.
Now the US way is being used so everyone is a Director of (insert job department) but is not the same a a company director, that would be CEO.
Then you have SFO, SOO, etc etc.
