Hi all
What would be the best option of lowering springs for a 02 A4 saloon 1.9tdi 130bhp. I have been recommended eibach springs which will lower car by 30mm.

I dont want to go very low, just enough to tighten up suspension and not dramatically effect ride comfort.

Any advice/help apprecated.

Eibach springs are a good choice, but it's never a very good idea just to fit lowered springs, without also uprating the damping, or you get a 'bouncy' ride because the suspension is effectively under-damped. I believe Eibach do a suspension kit comprising matched springs and dampers. Lowered springs alone are usually used by those who just want the 'sexy' looks of the lowered stance but have no real appreciation for actual handling... In fact, for road use, many believe that firmer damping with standard springs is a better allround choice, but I suspect this is all covered in another thread on here somewhere...

Thanks NBirkitt
Anyone else have any advice. I am looking for as much info as possible before I go ahead. Any other combinations that would suit. I have come accross a H&R cup kit which comes with springs and dampers.

Thanks in advance.
