Can anyone with children advise me whether this a Go Go Hamster or an imposter?

I would say imposter.
My little girl has one and it has a bigger interactive nose, so I don't think that one is real - hope that helps

Thanks. A quick Google showed that the hamster was very similar but the wheel was quite different, which then cast doubt back on El Hamstoro. Curses, I was going to use it for my next blog entry.

You need to buy a pot of mustard and put on your/their finger nails to stop them biting them. nono

As the photo was taken at a wedding breakfast and I was the photographer, that may not have gone down too well!

ETA: The hamster was a present on the day - but it had no batteries... cue an anxious wait while the hotel staff went to see if they could find some - and were successful. Child loved it, spent most of the meal playing with it and showing it to all the guests biggrin
