Uh you want a camera and you want it older. older than what.
Film? Digital? Polaroid?
35mm, 110, medium format, large format?
How old , 1904? 1994?
I know I wasn't very clear. Film? Digital? Polaroid?
35mm, 110, medium format, large format?

Mid 80's. A camera that'll give some charter to the photos. Film I suppose (will need to get a scanner!).
ETA: I don't know what to google to get an example. Something to take photos that have a few dust spots etc.

£100 on ebay, I'm so tempted!!!!!
You probably know this already, but any Japanese SLR from the 70's would be ideal.
Pentax ME Super is a good low-cost choice, as the collectors aren't so interested in it. There is nothing bad about a 50mm lens, and quite a lot of good about one, you don't need wide angle or telephoto to take interesting pictures.
A rangefinder might be fun too, how about a Yashica Electro 35 - a bit like a Leica without the price tag. I bought one for £10.50 a few years ago, you could probably buy both cameras in good condition for £50.

Olympus Trip 35... simple but well made camera with a cracking lens. £10 buys a good 'un on ebay - I paid £7 for mine and it works great. Photo below.
Do a search on Flickr for Trip 35 - there are loads of of stunning images taken with a Trip. Epson V300 scanner or pay Snapppy Snaps £2 for a CD of your photo's when you get them developed. You too can be David Bailey... (put "Trip 35 David Bailey" into Youtube if you don't know what I'm talking about!)

I thought the same thing a few months ago, so I "borrowed" my dads old Zenit and bought a bunch of film developing equipment.

I liked it, but wanted to try something a bit more modern so I bought a Canon EOS 50e.

I liked that too, but wanted to try something simpler, so I bought a Holga.

I liked medium format, but wanted to try something really old, so I bought a Zeiss Nettar.

And then, well, to be honest I got addicted to eBay and before I knew it I had bought a Canonet from America.

I'm now poor, I smell of chemicals and I keep tripping over camera equipment in my home.
Don't do it
