Jetstar Asia - any good?

Looking to get from Singapore to Penang - does anyone know if Jetstar Asia is any cop (it's a 1hr 20 flight, I just don't want to be travelling with chickens/killed in a fireball).

Yep they offer a good service and usually cheapo prices too. The planes aren't anything special, but basically an Asian Ryanair-style experience which shouldn't be too bad for an hour and 20 smile

Yep fine as above. Worth checking out how much Maylasia Airlines charge for the same trip though, when I booked the same trip (in reverse from Penang down) there wasn't enough difference to justify going low rent. Especially as you'll be flying out of the budget terminal from Changi which is a bit rubbish (by Changi standards anyway)
