No sorry.

Lamborghini wins 10-8.

I couldn't spend £200k on an 8 cylinder car.

Not even one that sounded like that.

Eh!? That's a rather odd statment! You think 8cy isn't value for money at 200k?

Basically I prefer the sound of the lambo.

£200k for me is a bit of a stretch so it would have to be a life changing, keep forever sort of car to in any justify depriving my kids of a private education.

8 cylinders is fine but the music made by 12 cylinders is in a different league. See LP640 for details.

Until that clip I didn't think 10 cylinders was enough either (never mind 8) but now I do.

then again, this clip makes me think a state education isn't so bad every time...

Sorry, but the sound of that 16M knocks the 10cyl Gallardo into the weeds !

Yep, sounds good, but thats a little unfair !

If you compared that to something like an Enzo, then thats fair enough, but between the Gallardo (10cyl) and the 16M (8cyl).......there's only one winner, especially with those down changes ! wink

did you listen to the Gallardo clip right the way through.

after 24 secs he switches over to straight through pipes and that's what I'm talking about.

if I had ferrari 16M and I heard a Gallardo scream past with that exhaust on it I'd be down the lambo dealer the next morning.

so the best sounding cars on youtube are a Countach, a Diablo and a Murcielago.

Long live Lamborghini!

Well to be fair the 16M had an aftermarket on as well, but thats gotta be the closest sounding car to an F1 car I've heard, and I don't think he's revving it as hard as what the Lambos trying to.

Sorry, in this instance 16M wins !

loser

maybe a modern weedy V8 F1 car but they are nothing on the last 3.5ltr Ferrari V12 cars as driven by Berger and Alesi.

and the closest thing to a noise like that is the current Lambo V12.
