OK so I know that I have left it late.

I am off to Thailand for two weeks next tuesday. Can anyone recommmend me a Travel Insurance company?

I will be doing a bit of travelling around, some watersports and other bits and pieces.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I use Egg as their travel insurance includes motorbike use - so long as you have the relevant class on your licence.

I was thinking about Egg as I use them already for credit card and online saving!

We've used insure&go for years now. Never had to claim, but cover is pretty good and customer service isn't bad either.

Just make sure you get the right inclusions - motorbikes/diving/motorised water sport etc.
If you get any bother whatsoever when there, contact the tourist police, if they are near by. Get a report there and then.
Presumably, medical cover is your main concern? Just make sure you have a credit card that is clear for use. This is the fastest way to get treatment in "an emergency". Hospitals and doctors are cheap and in my experience, thorough.
If you cut your head open, don't let them use the staple gun to close it up - it hurts alot.

just got back from thailand today and luckily didnt have to claim on my insurance. I was really surprised at the cost of insurance though! Basically, I ended up with Post Office insurance as i felt i could trust it the most, especially when reading reviews of other providers. Even the big names though - when you read the terms and conditions its pretty surprising what is not covered.

Some of the cheaper policies out ther will not cover you for what you are doing but i found the hazardous activities section of the P.O policy seemed to over most of what i was doing. Its also probably cheaper to go for an annual policy.
