I have a few odds and sods together, but am struggling for inspiration this year.

I always struggle as her birthday was only last week, so being creative for two close events is hard (for me)

I thought about a nice dress from Next, but it's out of stock.

Circa £100.

Also, throw your favourite shopping websites at me please? Like IWOOT, Firebox, Play, ASOS etc...

I'm getting my girl friend nothing...thats right nothing.
I bought her an engagement ring last month and spent more than I should, so now I'm broke.
I've told her several times not to expect anything, to which she says "thats fine" but do you think she really thinks I'm not gettig her anything! not a chance!
She'll probably give me back the engagement ring on xmas day.

I'm also getting her nothing. But not due to being skint/engagement. I've just said i'm not doing it this year. Still wondering how well it will go down. I think she reckons i'm joking hehe

Mine's getting a pair of gaiters and decent socks as we got the boots the other week! (only as a bit-part present though!)

She won't give you the engagement ring back, no. Word of warning though... in womanspeak "fine" means "if you so much as think about doing that I'm going to be bloody angry".

On a more serious note than my earlier post (apologies - few pints at the work Christmas Lunch) I've bought my girlfriend a couple of DVD's that I've seen her looking at recently, a mug that I think she'll like, and a few bath/pamper yourself things from Boots. We're getting a new TV for the living room as a joint present to ourselves so decided to just go for a few little things for each other. Boots has some decent gift sets with various things in for around £20.00.

Her mum has got her a handbag, so that's out.

Proper meal is a bit of a cop out, as I get babysitters and take her out for a nice meal every other month anyway.

Spa stuff? I'll take a look..

Not sure if it's her thing, she'd probably prefer the walking boots hehe

Dunno yet. Will go Christmas shopping on Friday to have a look round.

She suggested a pair of warm slippers, which she may get from the cats.

Gotta do better than that though...

I've spent £9.99 on the wife this year as a gift to open on the day but we are getting some prints of three of us done instead.
