Got a ticket today after parking my car 10 cm over the parking bay line!! Thank you very much parking warden you C*>T !! However it seems to have the wrong date on it!! Says on the ticket Date of Contravention 16/01/10 a month from today...before i go calling and telling them what they can do with their ticket...... any advice?

Make sure you have a cast iron alibi for Jan 16th, and when they ask for the money, you can prove you wern't there on the day in question? will that work?

And next time, be a bit tider when you park rolleyes

when you get offical notification: apply to goto court rather than pay. Once you cast iron (not hand written) evidence that the offense is in the future you can get it thrown out on the principle your not Dr Who.

Here is a question I've always pondered. What part of the car do they look at when measuring whether you are over the line? Is it the wheel or the bumber? I had always thought it was the wheel.

Not sure if my car has a bumber, got a bum in it though!, sorry couldn't resist that one. Good point though nevertheless.
