Is it not close to where your left knee would be when sitting in the drivers seat? Small round vent, like the ones in the gap above the radio.

Gap above the radio? only vents I know of are, steering wheel, one by right knee (drivers side- mines boken hence cold), 2 on top of dash for window and one on passenger side next to passenger window.

Someone else who's been driving round with cold feet for months ? smile

2 vents on the transmission tunnel - this is the Driver side one, passenger one is in the same location in the opposite footwell.

There were some comments on this on another thread recently:

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Well - had a look in the drivers footwell, and there is no vent on the transmission tunnel. This must be the earlier model Cerbs that have this...

However, there is a second eyeball vent that I discovered that I'd not noticed before thumbup

Mine is an 02 model - so I am asuming that the transmission tunnel vent is on the older cars, and the two eyebal vent setup is on the later shape cars?

I have an eyeball vent at right knee position, that even when closed gives a blast of cold air, but the 2nd one is at right shin level, and blows warm air!! All is now much happier in the warmth department, so obviously I needed to take the Cerb out for a 2 hour blast arround Derbyshire and the Peaks just to make sure it worked!!! wink

Sounds like you have a later model car? The way you describe the vents are in the same position as mine, and as post above shows, I've now only just discovered that as well as the cold air vent by my right knee, just discovered another vent I never knew existed by my right shin that dispenses warm air! Sorted!

Maybe you should stick your head into the drivers footwell???

Wo WO WOOOO here, WTF, I dont have any of those vents, certainly not the 2 above the radio. Also Fairly Certain I dont have any in the footwell, i've been there plenty and not noticed them, will see at weekend and post my findings.

The tube which connects the vent at the drivers right knee has come off so cold air constantly blowing down there. ITS BLOODY COLD I TELLS YA!!

I've got the two above the radio, they're the ones which are used most. A nice blast of warm air and seem to be the quickest way of warming the cabin.

I have a '97 Cerb and I have the 2 vents above the radio, but nothing by my right knee, but I do have the vent further down the transmission tunnel, as does the passenger ...

Could it be that some artistic license was permitted on the production line and they were allowed to fit vents where that individual thought they would work best ?? hehe

The Radio 'warmers' are on earlier Cerbs, actually they are Radio Coolers IIRC. Later models had the cold air directed into the footwells.
If you have a later model and feel under the Dash top you may be able to feel the vent holes in the fibre glass moulding under the leather.
As fas as know, all Cerbs had the hot air vents in the Transmission tunnel, I'm really surprised that some people say they don't have them. That implies that that the only hot air for the cabin heating is through the windscreen vents. My old '97 Cerb had the Radio ventsm but definitely also had the warm air vents in the Transmission tunnel.
Having said all that...they were all built by TVR's weren't they smile

You should find that if you don't have the tunnel vents, then you have an eyeball vent under the dash at your knee for hot(warm).
