North Lincs Pubs please

I'm in Shorpe area tomorrow and would appreciate any recomendation of good atmosphere pubs some within vicinity of Shorpe. A local village pub with good food and fun people would be perfect for us.

Black Horse in Blyton - 12 miles from Scumthorpe, great food and loads of guest ales, lagers etc.

Scumthorpe is best kept away from IMHO.

Another vote for the Black Horse, owners are car enthusiasts, try the White Swan in Scotter also, foodis very good, usually a guest ale or two (there were two last Friday)

White Hart in Crowle is my local (6 miles from Shorpe, on the road towards Doncaster). Good food, good people; recommended.

Seconded. Hold a sports and classic car meet each month but apart from that a really cosy nice pub with superb food.
