No Anglesey then or might that get added later? A pity if that isn't on the list as that was a nice run out to see you all.

Good to see the provisional dates are out. Soooooooo.......totting it all up, for me, that will be a total milage of 1698 miles, about 40 hours on the road, and £400 in diesel to get to and from all the circuits. Good job we love racing init. smile

Snett is our realistic aim for 2010, the build is taking some time smile

No castle combe a shame but expected i suppose considering the amount of damaged cars and timetable shuffling at the meeting didn't help.

I really want to get to Cadwell as its my favourite circuit, but its not looking particularly likely at the moment, largely due to cash flow issues. Still, you never know, I might scrape together enough to get it out in time... If not, Snett is more likely...

Hopes were dashed somewhat yesterday when while trying to limp home as a blizzard began, my Chim slid gracefully off the road into a tree at about 5mph. Crack. bks.

Sorry to hear that Nick - hopefully not too much damage!? I'm sure you'll get the car sorted though and looking forward to seeing it in the paddock at Cadwell!

Thanks mate, it doesn't look too bad so hopefully I'm not too far off track.. Cadwell will be very tight as it still needs a lot of work (its in lots of bits at the moment!) I'll do my best though smile

How's your car coming along? Are you doing anything to it before the season starts or just rebuilding?

Hi Nick, car is getting there. Engine/box should be out this next week for rebuild and it's pretty much stripped ready for body work and paint. I'll get the rest of it stripped (hopefully) this week so Pete can get the body work started when he's back off his holidays. There's a couple of things on our shopping list for the Autosport show too, but no matter what it takes we'll be out at Cadwell! Can't wait to get it on track!

So are they changing the name from the Euro TVR challenge to the Southern TVR challenge. Who would rather do Brands Indy/Rockingham over Anglesey hehe

Anglesey I like and to be fair Rockingham is ok. Brands is a joke, Snetterton is a hole.

After a rethink, I was going to do the full series, after seeing the circuits I may manage 2 or 3 rounds.

IIRC people asked for fewer meetings, so if you do that your always going to miss out on a couple of circuits every year. Im probably going to give Brands a miss as its the same weekend as Le Mans, and its a bit of a noddy circuit ( and a pita to get to from anywhere other than the south east hehe)

But I'm ming to make all the others. I'll replace Brands with a 1 hour enduro at silverstone GP, and I need to fit in a Cscc race and maybe a trip up to Croft.

If your interested in going for the championship then it doesnt really matter which circuits the races are at, as each present a different challenge.

I dont think the series has much of a Southern Bias, last time I checked neither Oulton or Cadwell were considered south, unless you live on the north pole hehe Other than going to Knockhill ( cracking circuit well worth a visit by the way) i think its got most of the compass points covered in 2010 !!!

Have fun

Are these the only tracks that you guys will be going to or may more be added? such as silverstone? which i remember going to back in 2006.
I love to go and watch you lot race, but out of the three tracks that are close-ish to me only one of them is on a weekend I can make. Such is life I guess.

When are the dates likely to be finalised?

Cheers
