Xmas present for a whisky drinker,

not a hip flask, and ideally not another bottle of whisky.

Any sort of gifts for this sort of person or am i stuck with another bottle of whisky or yet another hip flask?

I know you said not another bottle of whiskey but on the news the other day day there was a story re: the production of an english whisky (based in Norfolk I think) would that be worth considering would that be a bit different?

Two bottles of whisky?

How about a book on the history of whisky, or on a particular favourite brand?

Or a visit to a distillery? Maybe a bit far, depending on where you are

When you say not another bottle of whisky, I assume you have bought them a good whisky before? I mean a really good one?

Search English Whisky on bbc news and you'll find the story I saw.

I did see this - no idea what the quality would be like - unfortunatly they've stopped selling until the new year.

Oh. They did have a whisky critic who highly complimented it, which is why I'd thought it'd be worth a shot smile Never mind, that's my one and only idea out!

I got a bottle from here recently and noticed that they sold accessories;

The bottle I ended up buying was from the Highland Park distillery, who also sell a range of gifts;

A quaiche (sp?).

Its a sort of traditional scottish spoon thing associated with whisky drinking. (SWMBO got her father one for his last birthday).
