light switch question

What's the difference between a 'SWITCH LIGHT SINGLE 1 WAY ' and 'SWITCH LIGHT SINGLE 2 WAY ' or more importantly how do find out which one I already have?

1 way is when you can switch the light from only 1 location.
2 way is when you can switch the light from 2 seperate locations.
