Just for all you guys still lookin.
I managed to finally get a job yesterday after 5 months of lookin.
It's still possible.
Bloody hard at the mo, but there are still some decent ones out there.

I think things are starting to pick up, I'm starting a 3 month contract job in January but I've had 2 agents phone in the last week me about full time jobs that look promising after seeing virtually nothing relevant since August.

A bump, and one that might not be welcome to those still looking, but anyway after 10 months out of work I got 2 job offers just before Christmas and one more this morning, and am starting a new contract on Wednesday.

It's been very very tough as my industry's been on its arse for all of 2009, and I feel for everyone still hunting for a job, but hang in there and eventually something will come up that suits you.

Needless to say, posting on PH won't be part of the job remit - I actually want to work!
