Somebody help! My Amazon (HDJ100 variant on a 53 plate ) has just about the most useless godawful sat nav i`ve ever come across. I can get an updated DVD to rectify the bronze age road mapping, but the operating software is beyond stupid Does anybody know if its possible to fit a Kenwood/pioneer/garmin whatever into the same dash casing then i can sleep easy knowing if i get lost it wont cause an embolism...........

You may need to get a facia adapter so the new stereo fits in correctly and some adapter leads to connect the new stereo up. Shouldn't think it would be that hard.
