Tough titties, I'll replace one of them of they find £29k and 36 days holiday not enough.
It shows how thick they are when all the other departments realise cost cutting is inevitable and have agreed to do anything to help yet cabin crew feel they are some sort of sacred cow

It's good that people who've made travel plans over the festive period won't have to face disruption now.

To be fair, it's "trolley dollies from Heathrow" I believe?

I heard a BA cabin crew member flying from Gatwick on the radio the other day saying they've been working under the conditions the Heathrow lot are trying to strike over for the last 3 years, and that the slimy gits should just accept it.

I'd like to dish out a bit of abuse myself. Trouble is, they take a dim view of bolshie passengers these days.

I am supposed to be going to South Africa on Christmas Eve and do not particularly want the plane to make a special stop to drop me off in the Congo ...

i'd sack the lot of them and get people on £22k per year that are thankful and grateful for having a job where you do fk all all day long

£29k is stupid for a bint serving peanuts

£56k is ludicrous for a bint serving peanuts
could not agree more, and if the strike goes ahead would probably be the end of BA so they wouldn't have a job to go back to, incredible short sightedness etc.

Ryan Air chappie must be laughing his head off

I'd like to see someone on here who actually is employed by BA, and who understands the grievances the staff have.

Are they determined to take the airline down? They are loosing hundreds of millions FFS the rest of us have had to accept harder work, pay freezes etc. I hate the unions.

I'm not flying this Xmas but taking their strike at a different time of the year should help them avoid the contempt from the general public, regardless of their grievances with the management.

I suppose these unions always expect the company management to capitulate immediately?
