MTB for £800.

hi, i will be partaking in the Bikes4 work scheme and have around £800 to spend. halfords not one of the selected so Boardmans are out.

Been looking at the Specialized Rockhopper SL Comp, also had a look at the Scott's and a genesis although that was a steel frame which seemed a little strange

Any other suggestions or comments about my choices?

I got a spesh rockhopper comp disc with the C2W scheme just over 18 months ago. Never cycled to work on it. But, I've given it some proper stick on some pretty rough trails and it's had a fair bit of use.

Still rides, looks, feels exactly like it did when new. Would I buy another. Yes.

But.

If I was spending that much again I would be really, seriously, properly tempted by one of these.
