Hi guys, unlucky for me i decided to handbrake turn my car in the snow, resulted in the d/s rear wheel slamming into a kerb, since then the wheel grinds/catches on somthing when driving, had the car jacked up and the wheel moves freeley half a turn then stops just wondering if any one knows what its likely to be.

Lesson learnt: dont do handbrake turnsfrown

Only time i have biffed a kerb was on black ice in an old car with steel wheels-it was the buckled wheel catching the brake caliper. I think you would have to smack it hard to bugger up the bearing, not sure how easy alloys buckle?? Bad lick frown

I've managed to bend 2 ST alloys in 3 years, so I wouldn't say they were that tough.

Once hitting a pothole (which took the tyre out as well) and the other when I hit a kerb that I didn't realise/forgot was there, head on. The latter was at a low speed but still managed to bend the wheel enough to cause some rather irritating vibrations.
