Plenty of snow in Surrey. Cars were stranded up both hills outside my house (I live at the bottom of a valley), but the good old integrale just drove straight up there and onto some fun roads.

All the main roads are just wet, but "offline" there's fun to be had. biggrin

I'm the only person so far to reach the office.

im in surrey too, must of been 2-3 inches on my car this morning.

Its amazing that people 'cant' make it in... its complete bks. if you can get to a main road.. you can make it in. surrey is hardly the shetland isles!

Ironically, it rarely snows in the Shetlands.

We had a bit but nothing too onerous to deal with.

made a point of doing some nice low speed donuts round the local car park though this morning before it started filling upsmile

Also found some nice 'off piste' stuff down some of the side roads on the way to work.

One guy was quite funny, he looked st scared coming down the hill with his hassards on and then there's me going up hill grinning like a Chesher Cat looking for some nice Icy patches

If i'm being honest, I was hoping for a little bit more carnage on the way to work, no crashes you understand, just a few people struggling would have appealed to my darker side!

bit of ice here and maybe a few patches of what at a stretch could be called snow.

Didn't stop the young woman sliding her Zafira into the side of a bridge though on my way home from work though rolleyes

Not to bad in Berkshire - probably 3 inches but things are moving OK.

Some good fun to be had, but in the words of Sergeant Esterhaus - "let's be careful out there"

It seems Norfolk lacks the 'I can drive at full speed because I've got a 4x4 brigade'. We're stuck with the 'it's slippery so I'm going to drive at a maximum of 10mph on a dead straight empty A-road where the snow has melted

Not a sausage down my way. No ice, no frost, no snow. Nothing. Cold, but it's been a massive overhype down here.

But I have just spoken to a customer in Lancing and he said he had 6 inches this morning (and presumably some snow...)

All in all, I think you've got the better part of the deal there.

some in MK.

watched a tit in a clio on the phone (in hand) try and negotiate a slippery roundabout one handed along side us, watched outa the van side window and mirror as he 720'd into a crashbarrier with a crunch. most satisfying.

I think Can`t relates more to I want a day off work and this sounds like a good excuss as lots of other people in the office will do the same smile

However I dont think the snow affects the Tube, so I have no excuss!
