Just been in there for some work on my bike and was charged a fraction of the cost advertised. The manager spent 'some time' helping me out and passing on advice etc.

Anyway, all in all a top bunch.

The advantages of going to a bike shop out of peak hours - lunch, after work and the weekend.

Just shows how service can change.

I went in ealier this year to buy a road bike. Assistant was less than useless, wasn't willing to measure me, advise what type of bike i should be looking at, and just told me to "have a look and choose what you want"

Good for In-Gear (my local shop) though as he has sold three bikes on the back of that visit plus all teh extras one has to have.

Their charges are frankly stupid, so one would hope you got a discount biggrin
