best sites for ski hotels?

Hi,

Im after a cheap hotel / apartment for 2 in val disere for 2 weeks in jan. I have flights etc though so can anyone rec any good sites to just search for cheap accom? most seem to be package only?

you can contact the package company and say you don't need the flights. Often they will requote the deal at a lower price.

I don't really know how much you mean by cheap but a site I found recently which I find is good for Ski Chalets. The site is called www.findchalets.com

can't guarantee that your particular one does this but I did this a couple of times a few years ago when I was already on the continent and had booked train tickets already.

Most tour ops should be interested in you even if you've bought your own flights. If they don't then they're being a bit silly really.

The Auberge St Hubert in the high street has just been renovated and is pretty good value this season. They speak reasonable English - www.auberge-sthubert.com

Dont know if i want to stay in a hotel for 2 whole weeks tho, appartment might be a better bet, as someone else mentioned valdinet is a good place to look for info.
