"It's like Pebble Mill on smack"

Hope it makes it to iPlayer uncut, he seemed a bit drunk although apparently teetotal.

He was bouncing round like a kid overdosed on blue smartiesbounce Adrian Chiles certainly seemed to be getting a little pissed off with him, which was quite entertaining in itself.

Watched it all the way through just because of Kay.

Chiles was getting VERY pissed off! I hear it in his voice. See it in his face. Was funny.

And my word, Christine is amazing. That accent. cloud9

First time i've watched the one show, was laughing away hehe

Did see him downing that glass of champers, alchoholic or not, who knows, but he certainly seemed well done at the end hehe

Slightly out of control.

Chiles was getting more and more agitated as the show went on.

What was also funny is that the BBC and The One Show, bastions of following the MMGW lead were perfectly happy to show a piece about possible technology in the next 10 years, fully automated electronic houses doing everything. Did they think the power for these super houses would be grown on trees?

Don't get why the guy from the gadget show was on doing a piece that was on the gadget show itself (the automated house)

First time i've watched the one show as i said up tharrr ^^^

But it seemed like a good laugh and just some decent tv banter that isnt too tedious, apart from strange chestnut woman!

It's quite good in parts because it jumps wildly between dopey topics (like plugging "Strictly") to quite serious topics (like the social relevance of Dickens Christmas themed stories). We could have done with a bit more John Seargeant last night and a bit less Kay.

Last nights show was a classic with PK taking full advantage of live TV and Christine was laughing so much she couldn't do her links smile Peter knows the plot, they show some obscure subject and Adrian asks the guest, 'Well guest, what do you think of/about..... and every time he asked Peter, Peter just turned it back on Adrian, I'm more interested in what you think about blah blah etc and it killed any conversation. Adrian was looking well pissed off when Peter sat between him and Christine with his arms round them both. Nearly reached the heights of Rod Hull & Emu on Parky and Oliver Reed on the Aspel show. What made it so watchable was Peters ad libbing and and not following the plot.

There has been other times when the guest has taken over but last nights was definitely the best episode I have seen.

PK is just the maestro at taking over, he did it on the BB year ago, and Mel Sykes would just freeze/get annoyed cas he can think faster than her, faster than most of the useless plebs they get to host these shows. Not seen it all yet but he on his game in this type of scenario.

Mr Kay was on fire, very very funny. I dont normally watch but was glued to it. Every time Adrian came up with a witty question Kay would fire it straight back... so simple but very very entertaining.
