Rocker Shaft Thrust Washer

Just want to check:- the trust washer that is used on the end rocker (between the actual rocker on the end flat washer held by the split pit) has the outside curve towards the rocker?

It does seem we have a habit of crossing each other paths. I have decided to get a decent set of rockers (finally went for YT rollers). This was partly justified as a Xmas present and partly as a present as I have a new job (was made redundant in Oct..so it's a welcome back to reality present)

I am still incredulous that I can find decent rockers that will maintain oil pressure, are strong and allow a relatively even pre load distribution. Like how hard can it be???. Obviously we have learn't.. and I am very happy I have learn't from your experience.

The YT rollers have individual pre load adjustment and the one I got came with new pedestals with a supporting pedestal for the end rocker.

Plan to fit them between Xmas and New year.. only down side I know of (currently that is) is grinding away some of the rocker cover to accomodate the larger physical size. Not too sure if 2 gaskets placed together would work.

I bought mine from www.triumphroverspares.com.au and for shafts, pedestals (with out riggers to support the end rocker) and rollers paid $AUD1400 inc 10% tax

The rollers were cheaper at loads of other places however none of them had fitting exeprience.. and since the cock up with the oil pressure and other rockers, wanted some experience as a safety net.

Understand they are even cheaper on the US

Installed one side today.. they lined up well, fit easily and the geometry looks fine.
