IMHO it has gone off the boil a bit. There are better options out there.

Still very drinkable though.

I got some for when the mil comes round, I'll keep the good stuff for myself.

It's a good standard quaffer, but nothing special. I'm a bit out of touch with what is actually good at the moment (wife has been pregnant/breastfeeding for the past 2 years, so we haven't been buying very much wine at all), but Palliser Estate stuff has always been very decent.
