So, after this:

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Please tell me:

a) Why, after having the timing belt done is the following happening 1)Car is smokey (grey'ish) especially when dropping down a gear and accelerating 2)Car hic-cups and dosn't feel 'right' generally. 3)Could all this be caused by the timing be out?

b) If it is the head gasket, 1) Do I need to get it replaced straight away 2)When will I see the tell tale creamy/youghurt under oil cap? 3)Should the mechanic doing timing belt have noticed the gasket was fked?
