Watching the BBC Climate Change Progranmme, sorry, 'the news', where various world leaders are vying to see who can screw their own economies first (apart from the Third World who are busy holding out the begging bowls because they need more AK47s)...

If Gordon Brown could commit the UK to reducing CO2 emissions by 100% by tomorrow, and fine ourselves 1.75 trillion pounds if we failed, then we'd fail and the fine would pay off the National Debt.

Ah but it's based on Labout Logic... whereby debt is actually 'investment' so it doesn't count because it sounds good.

My idea may have fooled a PHer but I'm thinking of sending it Number 10 - they're gonna love it smile
