I've currently got Dunlop SP Sport 9090 255/40 R18's on the rear of my Z4M R and Continental Contisport contact M3 225/45 18's on the front.

That is what the car came with when I bought it.

I assume the Continentals are the original fronts and the previous owner put the Dunlops on after wearing out the rears.

Anyone any experience of the Dunlops ? Grip doesn't seem great - but then nothing would at this time of year.

The fronts are wearing - Now, do I get more of the Continentals to replace them, go for Dunlops or am I going to ditch the Dunlops when they wear ??

Anyone any experience on the Z4M R ??

A lot of the owners on the Z4-Forum go for Michelin Pilot Sport 2 (if they're rich) or Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta (if they're poor).

They all slate the Continental SportContact M3, however I've kept them on mine and did 200 miles in the snow on Friday without much concern.

I had a set of Pirelli P Zero Rossos on the rear of my old Z4MR - seemed fine.

Would thoroughly recommend the PS2's however.
