Ive been looking into a helmet cam but there are so many out there im not sure of which is best.

Does anyone have first hand experence or know anywhere I can read up and order online?

Have a look here. I have just got the Contour HD 1080P version. You can get a handlebar mount and a helmet mount for vented cycle helmets.

Only used mine on track days so far but will be using it for snow boarding in Jan.

That contour cam is certainly getting in the press at the moment. And the little footage I have seen from it looked good.

Iv got one of these and im loving it. Only using it on its 720 60fps setting but its giving me amazing results

Another one to look at the the GoPro HD Hero. I think that the video you get from either is comparable but many people like the mounting options you get with the GoPro. I think that the chest mount give a much better idea of the riding that is going on than the helmet mount does and for that reason will be getting an HD Hero.

Those guys sell both the Contour and GoPro cameras. Give them a call and I'm sure they will help you out with choosing.
