Appear to have a lot of fumes/engine smell in the car!! Any way of sorting!?
Closed vents etc and opened windows at times, but I still get out stinking!! Can you seal the engine area?
Thanks in advance!

I had a similar problem with my 350i.
It turned out that the exhaust centre pipe was split and the fumes were sucked in.....somehow....

If it's a fuel smell, Check the Fuel lines in the back of the Engine area - These have been known to perish, leak, and then the car catch fire!

Did you sort your oil overfill prob? Maybe you still have additional oil from a breather?
Do you have the car decatted? That can cause fumes.
tbh I would get myself to Raceproved and get them to sort it for you?

If the cats are knackered that could cause it.

I agree with this, when one of mine blocked it was glowing so much you could see smoke coming thru the gear lever area.

very worrying

You've got a hole/crack somewhere in your exhaust system.

If you have exhaust fumes coming into the cabin you really need to get it fixed ASAP it can be extremely dangerous. Early stages of carbon monodie poisioning can go unnoticed and include loss of concentration and 'grey-outs'. Decidedly not what you want when driving a cerb.

Dave M Cerberas last journey, check those fuel pipes, I'm sure he won't mind me posting these again.

They only just got out in time.

Bl**dy Hell they are very prompting pics to look at mine. Only had the a month or so, but my garage does smell of the car. I assumed this was just the natural smell of the car, you know a bit of petrol etc etc?? Booked into Levens first week in Jan so will ask for this to be looked at.

I'd take it to either PPC at Melton http://www.ppctvr.co.uk/ or TVR Power, both fairly local to you and recommended, and have one of them take a proper look at it.
