Virgin Media - Dead box! Any ideas?

Hi,

Turn on the telly tonight to watch top gear and my virgin box is dead, its a Samsung smt-2110c, all i am getting is 3 green dots where the channel numbers are and the power button on the front is red, its not in stanby or anything like that and the box is only a fliping month old, got one of there "team" coming between 8am and 12pm on christmas eve, just wondering if anyon had any ideas before then?

Had this did you turn it off for an hour or so to ensure it is reset?

make sure they dont charge you for the days youre without cable TV, they will if you dont pull them up about it. Why is it taking them so long to get put to you? 12-8pm on christmas eve is a joke.

yep its being off for longer than a hour, tried everything i can think of and the bloke called "Steve" with a very asian accent could think of.

There coming the 24th because thats the soonest i am off work to let them in
