Went to a wedding over weekend and saw a few guys who had kept the label on cuff of the suit (the one thats loosely stitched on).

Is this some kind of new chav fashion??

Just for the clueless.

Always brightens my day though.

Normally the type that wear a great big fat tie knot with the tie finishing half way down their front and thick soled shoes as well.

I call it the "first court appearance look"

It's been going on for years. I recently met with an Israeli company and all their guys had the labels on their sleeves. They were middle-aged business men, not chavs either. Not sure why they all did it to be honest.

You could always point it out to them in a crowded group and see if they go red... I like to do that when they are showing off and stating how good their suit is and its a <insert designer brand here> label...

The rail label?

It's either
a) people who are naive and know no better (fair enough)
or
b) bellends "showing off" and is one of the funniest things you can see.

Not knowing any better, the first time I bought a suit I wasn't sure if the label should stay or not. I also thought the pockets were "fake".

I once met a gentleman that had kept the Armani stickers attached to the lenses of his spectacles. To give him the benefit of the doubt, it is possible that his name was Inamra and he needed the reminder.

Now, anyone that knows me will tell you how averse I am to mockery, but I think I would laugh out loud for some considerable time, before resorting to belm-ness, if I were confronted by such a sight.

I was first made aware of "belm" in Law of the Playground. Before that, it had "no name"...it was simply "Hnnnnnn"

You clothe your domestics in couture?

How disgustingly new money.
