Hi Guys,

I need approximately a tonne of Rock Salt and have a few questions:

2. Can it be delivered to Croydon by this evening or tomorrow.

Cheers

According to the BBC website, councils buy grit for £18-30 per tonne delivered (by the lorry load). Are they taking the pee as far how much they are charging?

[citychap26]

My managing agent is talking about £330 + VAT for a tonne.

fking taking the piss

£330!!! FFS!

Try calling one of the companies listed on a local supplier?

£330 is taking the piss big style.

My parents got 2 tonne delivered for £205 including VAT.

You can buy it by the pallet load(25kgbags) from Wickes for £222.
