Ah - you have the luxury of a garage, Matt!?
I have the beautiful sight of the Griff decorated in seasonal adornment - i.e. it's lost in a snowdrift!!!
Know of any garages for let locally?
Still haven't established any more detail about the poor TVR in last night's incident - just hope it's not too serious. I know it's not a neighbour of mine who has a silver/gunmetal T350T with a pretty snow bonnet at the moment. Anyone on here?

There is a dark blue Griff in Northwood who I regularly see, don't think that he frequents PH though.
Mine is also outside at the moment. Took the precaution of wiping the snow off it last night before it went icy. Could just see a group of kids passing by and scraping the ice and snow off the car for a snow ball fight " as we all have done in the past".
It'll be fine under the Leven hood cover until the weekend when it has all melted, it's not moving until then. Better to use the gf's TT instead
. The quattro system worked really well last night.

I see a lot of TVR's around and I always wonder if they are PH'ers Most of them wave but a few are miserable buggers. I shall have to go to the regional meets and the Ace caff to put faces to number plates. Hope to some of you soon.
Best regards to you all

Mawheel, think I went past you the other day, dark metallic blue with a headlight conversion, but I was in the TT.
Piersy and others, I'll be down at the Ace cafe this Friday. Most of the regular middx region go along plus quite few others. Normally at least 40 TVR's sometimes more. The guys from the TVR Centre at Barnet have started attending too and bringing along the latest models.
I'll be going along so maybe see you all there. Should also be at the PH Virginia Waters meet on the 22nd.

Just to complicate matters further, I live in Rickmansworth and have a dark blue Griff, I am often out and about in Northwood / Ricky & Watford and I know my missus nicks the car on a regular basis so you may have seen her around also(she probably wouldnt wave though cos all cars look the same to her - just different colours !)
As aaaaandy said, we go to the Ace Cafe (North Circular) on the first friday of the month. Any of you locals fancy a little convoy down there this friday to boost the turnout?
Beano, I'll keep my eye out for a garage, I do know a couple of property magnates in the area who may be able to help.

Yes that was me at the Waitrose carpark in the rain. What you couldn't see is the lack of footwell carpets and the holes drilled in the floorpans to let the 2 inches of water out that had gathered in the week before whilst I was away
The dreaded TVR Piss-fairy strikes again!!
Nor could you see the fine white mold growing on the parcel shelf.
And when its really cold the copious condensation freezes and I have to use an ice scraper on the INSIDE of the windscreen!!
Still, as they say, it is an 'enthusiasts car'
:
See you at the Ace Caff this week.
Yours aye.

Ooops - I sort of know that feeling. Still trying to figure that out! Moisture Mate (see copious other threads) really works for the condensation on the inside of the screen for me. So anybody on here own the dark Griff that followed me out of Ricky towards West Watford yesterday afternoon?
A fun little overtake and a short blast which caught my girlfriend by surprise!!!!

That was me , my old bean. the poor old sod in the box we overtook! If he wasn't awake before he surely was during and after (what with my straight thru'back box heh heh. Have to say your breaking on the appex of the corner in the wet had my foot hovering over the brake pedal
: what would shpub have to say about that?
Shame I had to turn off otherwise the oncoming straight would have seen the traffic Law bent to some considerable angle.
Ta Ta for the mo.

Piersy,
Sounds like you need a tube of silicone sealant for the under the bonnet, one of those moisture mates you get for caravans(slips behind the passenger seat)and a can of fabsil for the roof. Should sort out most of your issues for less than £20.
Can also recommend a Leven hood cover though to keep it really dry and a doddle to get on and off, £150 but worth every penny.
See you on Friday... (I've got a the dark blue chim R371 ***

Yes,
sorry about that but the passenger-seat-alarm-siren-jobby was unfortunately set to high when I made the overtake and whilst I was happy about the corner (especially with my nice new shiney shocks
) "'Er Indoors" was not!!!! Find it politic at times to back off a little....

aaaaandy,
Thanx for the advice. It's in for a new rad at Austec next week so I will get them to do it properly. I have a Leven Hood cover but have to park on road at the mo so some toerag's bound to be drawn towards it like Burke and Hare to a freshly dug grave. I saw on another link some poor TVR owner had his car keyed an all panels 3 hours after getting it back from a full body respray
The world is full of them. Hey ho.
See you at the Ace P420 *** Damp but loud
