0 when I left ABZ at 1630 tonight, -7.5 at Dunecht (and props to the owner of the silver Monaro for taking it out in this weather!)

-9 when I got home at 1800. Haven't been oot since but I'm tempted to go out later and start the car just to see how cold it is.

We used to have an outside thermomemter but the puppy ate it last summer rolleyes got to -18 last February!

I've been told it's -8 outside up here at Stuartfield near Mintlaw.
Nice and warm in here next to the fire though.

Took her out at 9. It was -0.5 in the centre of Abz.

Saying that it was -3 in BoD earlier.

Whilst still being eh...how should I put this........young, I'm more of a Edwards or Oscars man wink The black bull is in there to as it's a toss up between it and Oscars as to what's the closest. If i'm feeling particulary dangerous, the brigger gets a visit! In the long run though, anywhere with vodka or beer is good for me biggrin

Thermometer recorded -8.7 last night, but like Lefty it recorded -18.2 in February.

I'm writing this whilst stuck in traffic, watching a 911 going sideways, slowly, up Queens Road in Aberdeen.....

What kind of thermometer, I bought a Oregon Scientific one for my father, but it doesn't work below -20

It's a Jacob Jensen digital outdoor thermometer. Probe goes outside and display is inside. Records maximum and minimum temps and can also display C or F. Very handy if you live in the country......

I use the dogs expression / duration outside as a fairly reasonable measure of cold...

-10 in Grandholm in the middle of the morning. Being so low and close to the river has a few disadvantages. Brrrr
