Any of you PH'ers know anything about licence control for software products?

Got a training product, written in html,we are selling which we've turned into an EXE read only format and now need time expiring licence control on it. We are looking at one product at moment, but this doesn't seem to work with ours. Any one know of companies who supply this type of software or sugest an alternative solutution.

Any advice welcome

Thanks

We don't have a product as such, but one of the systems we resell does have quite a flexible security key system within it. I'd be glad to explain what it achieves it it would be of any help in defining what you want to get out of a system.

By time expiring do you mean you can only use the product for (say) 100 hours? Or that the license will expire at a given time/date?

If the latter, have a look at Flex.

For my shareware stuff I use a bespoke solution I developed myself in C++.

However, the Armadillo Software Protection System fulfils your requirements, as does ASProtect.

(I have no affliation to either of these systems, BTW)

you might want to look at rainbow - they have a software protection product called Sentinel. It uses usb keys that can be programmed.
