Been trying to think of a couple myself - have already started losing some weight, I will definitely buy a car with RWD and I think I might finally get serious about learning the harmonica.
Wife has also agreed we will go to at least one gig a month. We used to go two or three times a week, but have since moved from our flat opposite the venue.

So, what do you plan to do in the New Year?

More cinema trips.
More intelligent running training.

Edit: Get the Mustang road legal again and do the tidying up jobs on the 7.

Delete my POF account and start trawling for dates right here on PH.

Seems to be all the rage.

Attempting to give up smoking on NYE is completely futile, don't bother trying. Why anyone thinks they'll succeed giving up smoking during one of the most depressing periods of the year is beyond me, I don't know a single person who has succeeded in attempting then, myself included.
My OH gave up on boxing day last year yikes but has managed to stay smoke-free since then cloud9

It is possible, but I agree, difficult.

Also, keep my words and thoughts in good order and celebrate life. 2010 is the year to smile and be more positive.

I did.

I hadn't planned to. A mate announced it was his New Year Resolution, so I joined him. It's been 7 years this NYE.

After 18 years, on New Years Day I'll be giving up the fags.

Hopefully.

1) Get the household finances sorted.
2) Go to the Gym more.
3) Start Kickboxing again.

And if i succeed with 1 then i will hopefully get a fun daily driver from the following OH approved list: 106GTI, MX-5 Mk1, AX GT, Cinquecento Sporting, AE86.

A friend of mine said that she only makes resolutions for fun stuff that she wants to do...so losing weight etc etc never gets on the list (not that she needs to lose any weight, but it was an example).

So she does stuff like Tea at the Ritz, going to see a particular show etc, things that she really wants to do, but in a good way.

She has already made a resolution for 2011...we are going to Le Mans!!!Get in!
