355 immobiliser.

my insurance company are kicking up a stink re my new 355's alarm/immob. its a 1998 GTS with standard factory fit set up. i'm reluctant to have the car fiddled with and so have explained this to them. i'd think ferrari standard would be to thatcham cat 1 although the car doesnt come with certification. can anyone shed any light on this?

Had a similar issue with mine many years ago. I got Ferrari UK to fax me a letter confirming that my car came with the factory fitted system, which i forwarded to my insurance co. They seemed happy with that.
