Hello guys i need some help, anyone know of GT four specialists in kent area, the engine has been worked over pretty extensivly, but its not running very smooth at the moment. Suggestions please.

Bit more info:

When starting up the rpm's vary from 1100 to 100 and then sometimes stalls. I think it might have something to do with the idle control valve, but not sure... Really just a jap specilist would be fine, but someone that knows about 'worked over' jap engines....

Oh its not for me but a friend, i have a CTR; no problems with Honda!

Hi mate,

You're best off asking on the GT4 OC

There maybe an owner local to you who is handy with a spanner and could help. Failing that they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Don't have one of these yet, so cannot help, but yes, soon one will be mine, The Precious hehe

Rob, never used them, but how about sva imports on the old folkestone road just outside Dover? They have tons of jap motors in there inc toyotas and used to run a 1000bhp Skyline. Full 4 wheel rolling road facilities too. Maybe worth a shot?

Yeah its been mentioned to me, however i have also heard some horror stories from a friend who knows about these things... (was running a 600bhp Imported Silvia) (everyone always thought it was a skyline!!) and he said he got ripped a new bottom hole when he went there. So i am slightly cautious about reccommending it...

Hows your Z4 buddy? any more punctures? It was a shame that happened when we went out last. I have been a little busy with my civic, no chav zorsts, just some engine fetteling and a brake and suspencion upgrade..... Needless to say i have got the alkham valley down to some kind of special stage.....

Merry xmas fella!

i passed that info on, i do hope the current owner has already had a look on that site, as OC are always the default first call. Thank you for the linky though!
