Well this was the day I was born, so nothing special then other than a few smiles reading the forum earlier and incoming calls wishing all the best. Also cleaning house up and putting away all the car parts hanging about ready for the OH arriving tomorrow for a few days, then a quick trip into town to the bank and buy some presents. I was meant to buy a duck but have come home with a chicken, plus I was badly out manouvered at the check outs by an old girl, how rude!!
After standing in a queue yeaterday at the airport for 8 hours to see what the f
k was going on with the flights and whether I'd get home for christmas. I woke up today in a hotel near the airport (Which had no hot water in the shower) I then went to said airport, joined another queue for the replacement flight(Milan - Frnkfurt - Manchester), which was then cancelled. Got booked onto a flight to London, stopover there tonight, then a flight to Manchester tomorrow morning.
The flight to London is now delayed. Again. I was due to be in Manchester 30 hours ago.

kin' Christmas everyone.Spent the day out beating and enjoying the beautiful Worcestershire countryside, truly stunning this morning...epic views, bit wet and crappy later on though.
Also very randomly saw a truck (not an M5..) with "Amari" on the side!! I did chuckle to myself but alas none of the other beaters are PH'ers..and i couldnt get a pic unfortunately as it was mid drive and too fleeting.

Spent the afternoon trying to watch the new St Trinians film and wishing all the teenage (& younger) girls in the audience would just shut up.
Why do they need to make so much noise that it drowns out the voices on the screen?
Why can't they go to the toilet before the film starts?
Why do they need to eat all the way though it?
Reminded me never to go to the cinema during school holidays ever again!

Went to work, office was empty - got bored, so went and got some steak for tomorrow night, then a visit to Waitrose for bits and bobs. Off to the vets to get the cat innoculation records updated, then dropped the cats off at the cattery.
