My mate manages a few self catering apartments on San Valentine in Fuerteventura if your interested. £100 a week and he can do airport transfers if your not hiring a car aswell.

Hot by my definition of the word is simply not do-able in 5 hours flying time from the UK in Jan/Feb.

Fuerteventura is only 4 and a half hours and is warm all year round. Get the odd tropical storm round about now but still warm smile

We booked a Fuerteventura trip last week for Feb.

1 bed apartment, with a sofa bed in the lounge, 11 days for £630 - one 3 year old and one year old. 2 bed apartment was £12 more, but by the time my holiday was approved they'd all gone mad

How do you subdue the kids on the plane?

Good thread, was wondering the same for me and my bunch. Is there a nice bit to the Canaries? i.e some culture and not so many of our darling chavs?

Our first flight since Puggit jnr was 6 months old (also to Canaries). We're planning on a portable DVD player this time!

Find the Playa Blanca thread in here (southern part of Lanzarote) - definitely a low chav count.

La Gomera if you want somewhere quiet, scenic, withs fantastic driving roads, and some memorable walking too.
