Well, there we were wondering if this is going to be any good.

Looks kinda fun, kid with no powers becomes a superhero. Never heard of the comic book but that didn't stop Iron Man from being great. Its directed by the guy who directed Layer Cake, so might be alright. Hear that comic is a little 'off the wall' and that you should really watch out for the characters Big Daddy and more importantly HitGirl.
Hit Girl, so the buzz on the internet goes, is something else..... and this turns up.

(100% NSFW folks. Seriously.)

yikes Jesus H Tap Dancing Christ!! yikes

Can you imagine the stink this going to create? If you want an example of it, head over to AICN and have a look at the feedback. 50/50 say best looking movie of 2010 and she kicks ass OR its a pathetic geek fantasy bordering on peadoism.
Me? I think the film looks okay in a Wanted=not real life kind of way but I can't see anyway that scene is going to pass uncut into UK cinemas. As I said in the title The Daily Mail will be going at this movie like a rabid dog. Maybe as the adage says, any publicity is good publicity...

So basically, they've made Leon 2? Except with a weak storyline and shock value in place of a plot...

I actually laughed out loud. I think this'll have good comedy value.

Yup, I laughed my tits off, too. Probably receive a '48' certificate in the UK on release, though; most likely through a pre-pubescent girl saying 'c you next tuesday', rather than her shooting people in the face with a full-bore semi-auto handgun.

yeah but Mark strong is in it so he cancels cage out.

I don;t think he has been in a bad film yet he is kind of the anti cage

Looks like a laugh that film. I don't see it winning any awards though, but it hardly matters.

Apparently it was the star of Comic Con, with the preview receiving a huge standing ovation from the assorted geeks and comicbook fans who will make up about 99% of the target audience. That said I quite like the sound of it; Empire/Total Film have been building it up for a while; I reckon its gonna be fun in a 'brain-switched-off' kinda way smile

It's now come to the attention of The Daily Mail

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-12543...

Even better for them is that there is a connection to another of their hate figures, Jonathan Ross, the screenplay is written by his wife.

The film looks awesome.

It makes sense now that Ross on his twitter said it's the best superhero movie ever. It got me even more excited.

To learn that his wife wrote it is a bit of a let down.
