I'm just getting some ideas for next year.
Who flies from where, are there any airlines I should avoid etc..I will be flying from the UK as I would need to sell a kidney and my children to fly from France so I don't mind which airport we fly from.I'm hoping you lot will save pointless hours of internet searching

I think it depends a little on the class you travel. We go 2 or 3 times a year and always fly Virgin Upper Class which is excellent

Virgin as a 1st choice.

BA as a 2nd.....if you want to take a flyer that they will exist.

You'll probably get cheaper on a non-direct but whit a hassle!

I'm off to the Daytona 24hrs in January and flying Virgin to Orlando from Manchester airport. Went this year on the same route, had no problems and quite enjoyed the flights even though I can only afford cattle class.

Last year we used ThomsonFly direct from B'ham for £2.5k for 4 of us to Sanford (about an hour from Orlando centre and the parks). There was plenty of seat space and entertainment. They also fly from some London airports. Downside is its full of families/kids and you have to book complete weeks. Upside is that Sanford is a very quiet airport so little queuing for car/check-in.
