If Wizzard had their way, it would be Christmas every day. Be grateful it isn't.

You own a house.
You have a job.
You have somewhere safe and warm to sleep tonight.
You will be eating dinner tomorrow ...with family.

Want to feel better about your lot?
Volunteer to do a few hours at your local homeless shelter this evening...

She "chested" on you, you say? I reckon have a few cans of Magners, then pop upstairs while she is asleep and "chest" on her, whilst singing ding dong merrily on high in hushed tones!

I had a similar crap Chrimbo some years back, seeing my kids for a few hours at a time, living in my Mum's spare bedroom while the divorce went through, having to make myself scarce in my own house when her (previously our) friends and family came around to drink and talk about me.

The only way is up from there. It may take a bit of time but there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Making more time to be with my own family helped a great deal.

What the fk has this got to do making the poor guy feeling better, this guy is obviously unhappy big time, sometimes no matter what material things you have it just dont make a difference. Happiness and health is all that counts.(oh and beer and hoars)

God Almighty - it feels nore like '"Whingemas" on PH rather than "Christmas".

I'm off to watch "Blackadder's Christmas Carol" to cheer myself up smile

Excellent choice, nothing beats a bit of Blackadder.

Because he should cheer the fk up and be more thankful for what he has, rather than moan about what he hasn't. Thinking positively is what makes people happy and healthy.

Ok, it's simple.

Get yourself some cans of real high strength cider, like Merrydown, the proper tramps piss.
Down the lot as quickly as possible.
Let her wake up with the beautiful sensation of warm, apple flavoured liquid running off her face.
Revel in the moment. It's all you have.

Just remember this is all (or mostly) for the little girl... focus on that and you won't feel too bad. When you see your daughter smile whilst opening her pressies it'll make up for it all...
